I think we may have had a similar SCI experience. I became aware of my cervical compression when I, too, began to lose my ability to walk and later becoming paralyzed. Twice. I am 7+ years into it. If u would care to talk, I would be appreciative because this experience is apparently fairly unique and confusing. I’m now working 15 hours a week and, while still limited in ways, my life is independent and as normal as I’d care for it to be because I don’t consider myself a normal nor average person. LOL
